Just testing out the limits to my mac. Highest activity I got was 78%. I guess I am able to push higher.

The track title is paradoxical. According to legend, the Halcyon bird has the power to calm the wind and waves while it rested on the sea during the winter solstice. This track is not calm. I just liked the name of the Halcyon. :P

Best with speakers with good bass (as it is Big-Room)

  • @davinhi Genre "rules" have been so stretched out recently... Dubstep can be whatever the hell tempo it wants to be, DnB can be as slow as 130, and and glitch hop is so ridiculously unpredictable nowadays that it's starting to be split into sub-subgrenres. And no, structure has a lot less to do with it than sound. Example: Dubstep vs. Drumstep.

    • I've never understood arguing over what genre it is. What the hell does bpm have to do with the genre? dudes be like ummmmm ackshually, there are only 50 thousand words in this novel, so it can't be sci fi.

    • 2020 update: we all have no idea what a 'genre' is

  • big apartment

  • Genres are measured based on structure, rather than sound. Example would be dubstep. Dubstep can be anywhere from 135-150 bpm, must have a half time drum pattern and some prominent sub bass.

  • Still love this

  • Huh?

  • OMFG LOL the 128 BPM JOKE IS A YEAR OLD NOW?

  • For some reason that kick is "slimy" to me XD

    i love this btw :D

  • Lol sounds like my big room track

  • wow this is really good... and im not even a fan of big room

  • this is cool, cuz it has that more uk vib IMO, sounds like something ukf would put out, not like the stuff on spinnin

  • the highest ive got is 100% my pc set its self on fire

  • everyone needs to learn what makes a genre a genre, it has very little to do bpm, but more with the instruments used and time signature. Bpm had nada to do with it.

  • this sounds amazing in my headset when set to heavy bass. SERIOUSLY.

  • great.
