Everytime I do a track, I just keep being lazy and think only 1 block of melody and then copy/paste all the fricking way!! Respect for the effort on melodies!!
When you do learn an instrument (I've decided you will), give Logic a try - It's crazy how music theory knowledge can open up a massive realm of possibilities within EDM composition. It's how I came up with the idea to fuse Classical, Progressive Metal and Trap all into one, and I'm just imagining what you'd do with similar ideas and inspiration using Logic's pure flexibility and awesomeness
xav, you should learn the piano...i love playing piano,i come up with most my progressions on the piano...i don't use audio tool anymore, which enables me to use my midi keyboard to play my chords/melodies right into fl studio...you should definitely get a new DAW and massive...it would be amazing :)
