It needs to be more agressive if you want this to be hardcore imo. The kick sounds a bit muted in the higher frequencies, and I wish it had more mid-frequency crunch. Otherwise, you did okay :)

a kick does not belong in the high frequency range, but I agree with the notion that they should have more of a punch. this can be achieved by either increasing the pitch value of your kick sample, or using the same sample twice, one at default settings and one tuned higher, with a HP filter, and appropriate cutoff and resonance values applied, could create a very heavy, but snappy kick. or you could just use a snare, and do the same thing appropriately, and layer those samples on the same hit

that's better it looks like you reduced the volume of the whole track tho. I was suggesting to just lower the volume of that one synth particularly be careful when lowering your whole track as this affects other sounds as well. Good EQing means paying close attention to each individual aspect of your track and tweaking them just right. if you'd like anymore tips, please feel free to message my wall :)

whoa now it's REALLY compressed XD what happened? would you like me to hop in the studio with you?

i understand what you are talking i lowered it for less ouch effect for now and tweaking the individual sounds atm. thanks for your tips! highly apreciate it.

furthermore, when lowering the whole track, you're not really fixing the problem, because that sound is still the same volume in relation to the other sounds which are now also lower. hope that makes sense. I would undo the overall volume decrease and just reduce THAT one sound by a few db
