Mixes both Young Kanye West and Just Blaze( Jay -Z's favourite producer who liked using niche soul samples) techniques from sample choice to the way I arranged the drums, chopped the sample but mostly how I produced the track by manipulating how the sample sounds through the frequencies instead of chopping that much , lot of nuanced between both producers during that era so I thought this beat blended both styles uniquely and it's soulful and creative in the way the sample was used at least I think but it's experimental so it's a hit or a miss.

  • I think that the main loop at the beginning up to 0:40 and again around 1:40 , sounds off beat. Like the loop doesn't sound continuous and fluid, because you can hear when the end of the loop comes, and when the beginning starts, but I like the sample and choice of drums

    • yes to the last thing you said

    • Wait a second do you mean 50 seconds in and 1:50 in ?? Because the part at 40 seconds seems pretty clean to me and the part at 1:40 or maybe It's all four sections?? Cuz I think you're talking about 0:50 - 1:50 right before the hook right ??

    • btw if you've heard many men by 50 Cent it's a sample of Tavares which is the same soul group that I sampled for this track.

  • Still yet to add a bassline and further strings and a piano melody that's simple to accentuate the frequencies of the sample.
