I wish people would stop thinking sound design gets easier with other softwares. sure maybe more convenient but the actual creation of sounds is still hard. i disagree that AT limits peoples ability to sound design. modulating basses in AT is very achievable. using the phase modulation of the heisenberg you can get SO many unique sounds. in combination with modulating chorus, phasers, flangers, eqs etc you can make any sounds you want

so like, a normal 808, some slap house bass, an acid bass, and an older style wub bass, slap all that together and make a flow out of it then put a trap beat on it lmao

90% of hybrid trap (mainstream type) is an 808 flow split amongst like 4 or more simpler sounds, i just put those simple sounds together to get weird shit
