That kick has a lot of really bad high frequencies whenever it hits
Also that phaser does not work on the lead. There's too many things wrong with it. Maybe dry and wet it with a splitter?

It's on your toolbar on the right side of the devices, under 'Mastering'. It's nicknamed the 'Curve'. The Curve is an EQ

Ok. Where can you get EQs
Mar 9, 23
They are both helpful. Any one of them can be used to make a good sound. But EQs are the most helpful and easiest to understand

Which one do you prefer?

OTT stands for Over The Top compression. It's a downwards, upwards and expansive compressor. The multiband on Audiotool does not have those features. Therefore the OTT presets you see on AT here are fake

What is fake OTT and EQ
Mar 9, 23
what are you guys talking about

For one the jovee preset is not even a clean multiband preset.
Use project epsilon's ott v2/v3 preset. As well as kyurra's " swiss big roll butt" preset. They're so much cleaner

Alright, I'm really inexperienced but I will try my best to clean up the harsh frequencies and stuff like that. I'm just curious, what are the downsides of using the fake OTT and what would be an instance in which I would wanna use it, if at all?

Also please stop relying on fake OTT to clean up your sounds, when it can easily be cleaned up with an EQ - it's something that took me a while to learn
