this song is a mix between complete and utter devistation and the positive feelings of believing everything will be ok, even though deep down you know its not. the lower parts of the song are her leaving and being gone. Knowing that the things she is doing are destroying your spirit. But the parts that sound happy are when she finally answers her phone or when she comes home and gives the false sense that everything will be ok. And other parts are when she tells you she's coming home, you wait with excitement and hours go by, you excitement slowly changes to worry, then changes to sorrow and you realize she's not coming home again for another night.
