  another thing would be to keep your reverbs turned off once you get them set to the desired lvls. they are real heavy

  one thing i know for sure is that any chords you make with pads are VERY heavy and should be re sampled. And yes you do have to go back and fourth from draft to templates if you want to change anything but you get pretty good at it and learn to make lots of variations To keep from going back and fourth from templates to draft
