"Icarus" is a really personal song of mine, flipping the piano chords used in "lol i don't want to feel" off of my first studio album "Purgatory"

-

In early January, i sank into a deep depression after cutting out one of my friends from my life due to some nasty allegations brought to light against him. He was more than a friend he was a brother... it truly felt like he was dead to me and i have still yet to fully recover from it all. I miss him dearly. This song describes our last conversation together, and his favorite symbolism of the story 'icarus' flying too close to the sun and reaching the heavens. This is an extremely personal track and i heavily debated its release. i hope you can find your meaning from it <3
