You need a proper mix for this. This is good. I went into it, and on the master output it is struggling. Just putting on limiter made every sound much more crisp. But I would have actually done some mixing for each instrument individually (If I were in your shoes). But, really good stuff. I like.
glad you noticed, and I am well aware of this. this was more of a sound design/structure practice for me, and when I was finished I put a compressor on the master and called it a day. If it was a full track I would have probably attempted a cleaner mix.
