The moment just before arrival became forever.
ZENO / lynx
Zeno's paradox as a drum roll: each gap shrinks by the same ratio, so the hits crowd toward the next downbeat. The gaps add up to exactly the space left, but the roll stops just before it lands, when a gap falls below a 128th.
Every note in this project comes from a rule, no randomness:
- rolls: a bouncing ball, each gap x0.75 to x0.86 (played as notes on a Gakki drum kit)
- hats and ratchets: the logistic map (x -> 3.99 x (1 - x))
- acid line: a second logistic map on a Bassline
- drum breaks: four patterns chosen by the Thue-Morse sequence
- music box melody: the Fibonacci word (quasi-periodic: a motif that never quite repeats)
- harmony: F lydian, Fmaj9 Em7 Dm9 Cmaj7
- kick glitch: the kick doubled through a crusher and a Rasselbock on the 3rd bar of each 4-bar phrase
- snare spread: chosen snares thrown hard left and right; rolls bounce from side to side
The outro drops one last ball on the music box and lets it come to rest.

届く直前が、永遠になった。
跳ねるたびに間隔が同じ割合で縮み、次の拍の頭に近づき続けるロール(ゼノンのパラドックス)。乱数は使っていません。トラックを開くと、規則がそのまま音符で見えます。
