i either fixed or completely fucked the mixing. am going to add more variation and fills later

Honestly just lightly compress the master so the synths are more flush with the drums, and put some reverb on the snare so its more 80s. Also needs more fills, like toms n shit. lil Snare rolls every 4 bars helps break up the repetitiveness a bit. Also add some of those synth toms every 8 bars

Also turn up the makeup gain slightly so it balances itself out

Use compression to squish the drums and the synth closer together in volume. Turn down the threshold to roughly where the peaks of the synths and drums meet, if not a bit higher, turn the ratio knob up a lil bit, and fuck around with the release knob until it sounds ok
