Change is the only constant. To pretend being immune to it will only serve you to feel pain. The moment you create a narrative of yourself and who you are, you are creating its destruction. Your life is not eternal so what makes any of your definitions eternal? Why would you think some things may be spared? No, you will find yourself, your world, your loved ones dying a thousand times over. You will have to pick up and find scattered pieces of a self that was never really there and build yourself up again, a completely new foreign being that shall now walk in this vessel. The phoenix rising from the ashes. A mere fuel to the fire that will reduce you to the mere products of this oxydative reaction over and over. To survive you must be transient. You will never bend the world to your image, but the world will try to bend you. Either you give in or your whole vessel of selves may perish. Thus do not pick up the pieces. Do not ensure your needs, do not build relationships that will crumble at nothing but a mere coincidence. If your soul owns nothing it cannot be robbed. If there is no self to crumble, the self will not. Run, run, run at all cost. As to stand still and rest is a death sentence.

And then you'll see the reaper's scythe decapitate your own transience, in-definition and uncertainty. Running will no longer be an option. And you'll see the horrific futility of trying to fight it.

You are completely defenseless against entropy.

    • That is now something I've read. All the decisions I made have lead me to this one point. I've taken active steps that caused this moment in my life to arrive.

      Are we proud of this?
