REPUBLISHED!
Thanks so much to everyone who provided feedback and suggestions. I used a lot of your ideas to punch this track up and I think it sounds MILES better than it did before.
As I said when I first published this, I knew there was a better track hidden in here. Thanks to all of you who helped me find it.
Thanks folks.
@jbh613 I do love me some Rasselbock. ;)
And I have been listening to deadmau5 a bit more lately. Could easily be part of the inspiration for this one.

Great track! The chord progression you introduce @1:27 reminds me of Deadmua5' "some chords" but only slightly. Really into this. The pitch stutter @2:32 is great

Thanks R.K.!
And I might as well just spill it now...the unicorn is from Blade Runner.

Nah...I'll give it a few more hours for folks to see the repub. If no one comes up with the answer by then, I'll spill.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

By the way...does anyone get the significance of the cover photo and title combination?

Thanks guys. Yeah, the drums definitely need a bit more life. That was the bit that was giving me the most trouble. I'll work on those and give this a re-pub tomorrow. I especially like Sandy's idea of some dirty toms from an 808 or something. Maybe a ride here and there too.
@Approaching Human - agreed on that bit. There's not enough of a payoff there (or later in the track).

The kick needs to come earlier and it needs to be a NECKSNAPPING kick... Seriously start it at . I think everything but the 303 needs to be turned up, too. And like needs a more grooving drum pattern... it's currently a suspenseful pattern... but that right there is the climax of the piece. You need some pounding drums there
