  • i love the crushed vocal, but i wish it had a bit more depth and wideness.

the growly bass is cool and the sound effects are all really neat!! super awesome and spooky! the only thing i might suggest is panning your sounds a bit more or even automate some panning or use a phaser effect at low depth %. very cool i love this!

    • if you ever want me to show you some things, hmu in the studio sometime :)

    • try using exciters to boost your sound, or a tubeD effect with drive set to 0

and gain to 1 or 2 db to saturate your sound a bit.

if you use the vocals in the machiniste, try using the built in filters to tweak the sound a bit, or if theyre in an audiotrack, just refer to the exciter thing. or you can boost things in a curve filter by fine tuning your strongest frequencies. hope this helps, i know it's kind of general

    • Yeah, I couldn't figure out a way to spread the vocals like I really wanted, and same, to a lesser degree, with a lot of the other sounds in the mix. Definitely going to have to hop back in and try that phaser deal, I didn't even think of trying that. The panning automation is also a solid suggestion, I think I need to break away from the idea that everything needs to be on both sides at once, especially when it comes to pieces like this. Thanks for the feedback and solid advice my dude!
