Not sure I'd use the word "chill" to describe this, but it sounds nice! The melody that persists through the whole song should probably show some kind of variation. After a couple minutes of hearing the same melody, it starts to feel really tired. All it takes is messing with syncopation, changing one or two notes, noodling a touch in the spaces, something to mix it up.
