This time around there will be relatively less freedom for anyone who wants to enter to make any genre. Ever since my discovery of "Urban Myth" by Iglew, I wanted to create/participate in the creation of a weightless album. Weightless is basically an ambient, more romantic/emotional version of grime. This doesn't explain how it sounds fully, so I wrote this blog post to expain what exactly weightless is (at least in my understanding.

I'd appreciate if you give it a thorough read. In addition, I provided a few playlists of quite a lot of examples of tracks from the genre. Personally would be most interested in the music in my "weightless favourites" playlist, but you are free to try whatever floats your boat, as long as it stays within the general genre grounds.

Rules:
Deadline: 13th of December
No generative AI.
Refrain from copyrighted sample use, since this will be going to other platforms.
Track Length: Since some of the weightless tracks I found are quite short, so I will not demand any specific length. The longer you are able to make it, the more respect I have though. It gets a little difficult to make it non-repetitive.
Permitted genres: Basically solely weightless and experimental grime, however, there are many genres that make use of its techniques and there are many related genres, so feel free to make any of the genres I put in the tags.
Loudness: AT - approximately -3 dB on limiter, other DAWs -12 dB LUFS.

General submission process that counts every time:
Since the entries are supposed to be uploaded to YT and/or bandcamp, please send me a .wav file of your entry (Some possible ways are transfer websites WeTransfer, SwissTransfer, or invite me to an online drive, like google drive, Proton or whichever you use.

In case the track is made on audiotool, you can invite me to the project as admin - my username: yit0 - (I will not temper with the project and leave right after I've downloaded the wav). Or open remix option, so I can download it like that. I'll inform you if I've grabbed the file so you can remove the invite and so on.
