It doesnt at all depend on ram, ive checked that. Im pretty sure flash only utilises one CPU core/ one physical thread, which means an AMD processor would be very bad in the app, and a high end i7 would be great, which is why macs are so good on audiotool, because apple always focus more on single thread performance rather than multicore

Actually it's how much ram capacity you have on your computer. The more ram, the faster your processor runs. It also depends on what processor you have in your computer. i7 is one of the best for Microsoft.
