  well they called it johnny and the...at first but they realized that when we played live i always wore dark glasses(and had my eyes closed mostly when i sang) and my right foot tapped up and down crazily thus the added "nervous" so yeah i never hardly remembered the audience was so keyed up to do the shit right

  I was never allowed to play in bands. I'm too spastic with my playing lol. This is the only time I've ever made music for others to hear. Also I've never really written music before AT.

  i had a band for years "johnny nervous and the shapeless pygmies" of boston-ny circuit and since that died i started a one man band using loopers and layering sounds but now i play mostly acoustic piano/guitar and groove here which is quite adequate

  i cant lie to you and tell you i like jazz that much as for the poular styles are concerned it just doesn't ring my ears right. there are always exceptions to that imo though and your one of them however i can see your jazz influences but when you mix it with acid funk you get something completely new that is your style witch to me doe not sound dated at all

  I also draw from a lot of sources - jazz has a lot to offer, retro 80's and classical (baroque period is one of my favorites).

  I just write music quickly sometimes...not sure why it comes so fast. I try to hold it back, but can't. Even now, I'm working on something I want to wait on, but may end up publishing too early.
