Someone gave away an old neglected toy synth, it only has one voice but I really liked the sound so I did a line-out mod and tried to make music with it. Everything was recorded from little plastic toy. I used the chorus-vibrato trick to emulate a mod wheel, added some reverb and played around with the stereo image a bit.

  • This gives me legit nintendo DS vibes

  • its so good

  • really nice progression

  • Sounds great, and especially good for a toy keyboard

    • A testament to how easy it has become to work with recordings in AT! It has gotten a lot more efficient over the years :)

    • Well, your processing has done wonders in making it sound richer!

    • The output is quite clean, something in-between a squarewave and a sawtooth! There's no adjustability whatsoever though, so it's a bit of a monophonic one-trick pony

  • did you use samples??????? :/

    • ok fair enough

    • Yes, I recorded myself playing an instrument

  • Wow, this is actually really good! Very chippy synths, and nice drums too! Well done my friend!!! :)
