I also really like Donna Summer and I would like to do something with her voice but it is very difficult to get vocal tracks that are synchronized to a known bpm and also in a normal tone. ;-)

From what I've heard in youyube, in this style the bass is very decisive. The configuration of the bass that I have used is actually that of a bass trance slightly adapted to sound like the bass used by some Russian Djs.

i love it, bass is difficult for me. i didnt look at your setup but try using a compressor and make the attack and decay on the quicker side and it'll polish the bass drum and make every note just as loud as the previous
