If using the Cent make damn sure your not clip[ping on any of the Individual channels before you do your mix Down.

Tip. Do not listen to your track as a Whole until you are finished with every layer on the time lime. Also Before you adjust anything Listen to the Entire Track. and Watch the red litghts the limiter to make sure they are not going red in places. If so turn your MIXER down NOT the Limiter

Snare Kick = -6 DB peak on the limiter.
Pads = -10- DB sustained on limiter
Synths Non bass -10 sustained DB on limiter
Synth basses -4 PEAK on limiter
Synth plucks -4 PEAK
Hi hats -15 to -10 Sustained
Percussion - 4 PEak

Now With All your channels muted go through each sound and adjust the volume to so the needle on the LIMITER reads A certain value for each sound when that sound is played. ( loop the sound at its loudest point and turn off any delays and hit play) Here is the key i use

Now Reset your mixer to Out of the box settings. and Turn the Master volume of the Mixer to -6 DB. Then Turn your limiter Al the way up.
Next If you are using a Cent you can solo Each channel. IF Kobolt you wil need to Mute all your channels

K ill give you a Quick run down on EQing your track. None of your synths or audio tracks can be Clipping by them selves this is indicated by a red lite on the audio track or the HB .

I think LSD is being honest I like the silliness though :) the only issue for me is the Clipping. and the Final mixing ( some call it mastering ) This can be kinda tough because as soon as you Fix the clipping issues then your entire mix will sound off. This is where you reset the Main mixer EVERY THING even the Eq.
