yes man :) this has potential like @tomturbo said. he is right about the EQing. but other than that the melody is going good. the attacks are fine imo. and dont cut off TOO much high end. that kind of sound makes the high end fill up a bit, just add chords and a beat and shit and your good to go

But you should really set a filter cutoff on the highs..it hurts my ears bro :) and maybe a slower attack..try that modulation you did on the eq on the filter cutoff ;)
