  • There isnt enough interest in that synth to justify looping the same two bars the whole track, even with the breakdowns. I also feel that you should experiment with different rhythms for the breakdowns to help add variety. Im also confused why you had the clap on every 3, when the beat would have benefitted so well from having it on the 4 or occasionally the & of 4. The sub needs to be a separate synth from the chords, with its own lines and attacks.

    • Im just saying that the clap on 3 takes a really forward moving beat and puts an anchor on it. Really loses a lot of pep.

      but the drums are intended to stay that way.

    • Big things arent as agile as little things, so when a sub and a mid have rhe exact same attack and release it sounds unnatural.
