Components of the Armor of God

=Belt of Truth: Living with integrity, honesty, and aligning actions with God's Word.

-Breastplate of Righteousness: Protecting the heart through a right relationship with God and living righteously, not through personal perfection but by Christ's covering.

-Shoes of the Gospel of Peace: Being prepared and ready to share the message of peace and walking in peace with God and others.

- Shield of Faith: Trusting in God's promises to extinguish the "flaming darts" (attacks, lies, fears) of the enemy.

-Helmet of Salvation: The assurance of salvation protecting the mind from doubt and condemnation.

- Sword of the Spirit: God's Word (the Bible) used offensively to counter spiritual attacks, as Jesus did.

Purpose & Application

Spiritual Warfare: The armor equips believers to stand firm against Satan's schemes, not against flesh and blood.

- Active Use: It's not physical armor but virtues and spiritual disciplines to be "put on" daily through scripture, prayer, and obedience.

- Strength in God: Believers draw strength from God to wear the armor, relying on His might, not their own.
