how do i fix sample recording stutters this shit is so tiresome

I also have the stutters, I have gone back to recording externally :(
Happens across two different USB audio interfaces from different brands, across operating systems, with and without booster enabled. I'll try to look into it more and make a bug report soon.
So I did a full reinstall and set up my arch linux install specifically for realtime audio. I only have Chrome open without having added any extensions. Immediately there's a small improvement, but there's still a click or two every ten or so seconds. Worker/worklet had no effect, going down to 128ms latency actually seemed to cause less clicking on playback (no noticeable effect on recording though).
Didn't know this happened with loopback too, probably not the hardware then..
i always record in incognito, i’ve tried using chromium too, problem persists. it’s actually more frustrating to me that it works flawlessly sometimes because i can’t just put it down to any simple problem lol. and it’s not just external interfaces because i’ve recorded from my system’s sound card to get long samples from external recordings and even that stutters.
I'm doing a full reinstall today for different reasons, I guess that also counts as cleaning the cache - I'll see if there's any difference after that. Thanks for the advice!
sample rate issue?
I have the same issue when recording my guitar... Idk what is your recording device, personally I realized that the headphones' mic is slightly better than the laptop mic. Another thing that may help is to record not too close to the mic. And last tip: identify where are located the stutters in your sample, then zoom in for each stutter, cut out the stutter that you can identifiy as the small flat line, and make sure that the waves on each extremity of the flat line are matching each other
