YEAH!!! i see where ur coming from... i've been developing the "razordracula" sound since about 6th grade...... been on it ever since!! it has taken me a long time to achieve the sound people are beginning to know me 4 now, but im still developing it each day ! i believe (mainly on my tlaac album) that the deftones sound is def present..

I've been an off-shoot for literally ever, but yeah I'd like to stylize it a bit differently too. But I think their impact would still be quite audible.

oh dude......... i fckin love deftones..... yeah chino n the crew definitely had a crazy concept for a 30+ min song that's just silence, with the bong hit in the middle n damone at the end... definitely a treat tho, especially the first time listening to it n getting jumpscared by the drum fill lmao.....

Just recently listened to MX for the first time. Never understood why the track looked so long and I was kinda scared of that. Got introduced to Deftones 2-3 years ago (wow) and I've only wanted to sound like them for those last 2 years.

aw yes i grew up with adrenaline!!!! 7 words, root, and engine no. 9 are all a huge part of my chilhood. minus blindfold is one of my recent favs too
and youre right about bsides and rarities!! crenshaw punch, all the acoustic versions, and black moon are soooooo so good

dudee awesome!!!!!! bro adrenaline is definitely my fav. i love the modern albums too man snw, diamond eyes, and even ohms is really good. AND THE BSIDE album too people sleep on that one so bad ((( \ TmT)/ but adrenaline is what i always come back to .. nosebleed, one weak, fireal, minus blindfold, birthmark, root, basically the entire album im in love with.

so a big inspo 4 me is deftones. they're like my fav band ever. so on their second album around the fur, the ending track (mx) has an extra song about 29 minutes of silence later (damone) :D, which is what i tried to replicate!!!! i even took the riff from the song :3
