deep in the woods,

tears of light

warming the pale scales

of a still butterfly,

the tales

of the night

have finally

come to an end,

and i ascend

to contemplate

the top of each tree

that stood

in my way

and horizons stretching

beyond sight,

a light breeze

taking away

the stiff chrysalis

of my first journey

  • should be the default track for Terraria

    • this is so weird, i haven't listened to this track in ages, and you bring it back to my attention within the hour after i reached a new big step in the metamorphosis of my life

much love for all the kind words <3

    • the 3rd movement is so beautiful

its incredible that we can still trigger organic ambience with synthetic sounds,, and you are a master of space and atmosphere

together an amazing story and journey told thru vibrating air molecules

      thank you!

  • Now, this is my style!

  • very churchy, nice resonanties right here

  • The feeling I had when I listened to this music... The arpegios are sooo beautiful

  • love pad of the organ style synth, it give's so much body to the music and jet it has a cathedralish wide room sound that elevates or something. magical dude :~)

  • beautiful track

  • Republished

sorry for all the repubs, it is completely lagging in the draft

  • Republished

    warmer plucks for the intro

edited violin chords and stereo automations

    & other adjustments

  • Really nice work, with nice flow and nice sounds. I like the way it develops and 'metamorphs' - like a butterfly life cycle.

In my mind any piece of music can be improved endlessly and made better, or worse :). What i do is I listen to it for many many times and try to find and be aware of the relationships and interactions betwen sounds, motives, structures and experiment with them until i arrive to a some sort of "i'm happy with it" state. Music theory wont help very much when creating

    • Thank you Ilir, glad you like the idea! I see what you mean, useful advice that will help me beyond this track. I was a little bit complexed by my lack of music theory and how it could alter my creation process, you just reassured me thanks :)

  • Really beautiful track, I love it.

    stuff

  • how does one make the space sound so good

    • well, the process requires to pull out a material quantity of hairs from the head

and this is only the pleasant part of the process I'm talking about here

  • wow this is so beautiful and pure... sound design is fucking SUPERB!!
