To answer your question on whether or not you should "Hop On". Personally, I say produce whatever comes from your heart. Produce what you like, regardless of others. Don't do it just cause others are, do what you feel. Remember what you like and what makes you, YOU. Stay true to yourself, and forget about what everyone else thinks. That's what I say....
If your referring to the Genre/Category "Bass Music", well, that's not really my style....I like Breakbeats. I guess I can somewhat relate though. Even though its a bit slower on tempo. Go put some Subwoofers with an Amplifier in your ride or in a vehicle, and ride around slammin to some Bassy style music, and then you'll truly understand why there are so many of us Bass heads out in the world.
