Kinda just find something and think about it. when you think about it write down your ideas. like write down what it could sound like even if it makes no sense haha thats what i do it works
I found inspiration through friends, and from going to the beach and some parties haha, a lot of parties had a lot of dubstep and just electronical music so I tried making my own and my friend played it at his party and a lot of people danced and it was requested again many times that night.
