Singing in pubs and clubs for over 25 years has been quite a journey. During the UK 2020 Pandemic Lockdown, I took the opportunity to delve into the world of self-releasing music—learning the ropes of recording, mixing, and mastering. It was a challenging time, especially with two major operations to prevent my oesophagus from becoming cancerous. While recovering, I ventured into producing and releasing dance tracks, a genre that was entirely new to me. In addition to these new ventures, I've released cover versions of songs that have been staples in my performances over the years, along with some original material. Most recently, I've poured my heart into writing and recording my upcoming album, "These Are The Good Days (With Friends)." This album is a heartfelt narrative of my battle with cancer concerns and the fear of losing my voice, which is a daunting prospect for any solo vocalist Lol. Throughout this journey, the unwavering support from my incredible family and friends has been invaluable. The friends who collaborated with me on this album made the process even more meaningful. As for future plans, I'm taking life one day at a time, relishing the joy of creating music, and cherishing the moments with my family, friends, and supporters.
