Since you're new to audiotool I'm not really gonna go harsh on you, since you asked politely.
Try to use more devices than just samples. When you use samples, you're barely learning anything new and then wonder why you're bad at this and not progressing.
Even if melody is not the best, it does count towards the progression. As you make more of those, you start to get better.
Try to tinker with the sounds, if it feels too complex for you, use presets.
Also try to listen to more melodic music. Sometimes when you did try writing notes they sounded off from the sample or from the other instrument, it means they're not in the correct scale but don't go deeper into music theory yet, just try to make it fit.
