hey i just saw ur wall dude, listen i getcha. its a big change to witness and for some things it might feel unpolished. however if i can promise you anything and im sure you know this, devs are going hard at work right now. we're getting updates like every week. and they're very open and communicating with everyone. all i can say as someone who loves audiotool is reach out on the feedback hub, share your concerns and help em out that way. the overhaul needed to happen. i have to sympathize both with the devs for their admirable hard work and also with users who aren't taking in the new update cleanly yet. they are slowly bringing features back, im sure all they need you to do is to be patient and maybe check again in a bit to see if a feature you'd like back got readded. feedback is super SUPER important to them through the share feedback button. those are the two cents i can share with you. that said im sure their intentions aren't meant to make this more "corporate". just give it some time until it settles.

everything's hideous, the community aspect of the website has just been tarnished, and my drafts are fucking broken
did it just never occur to the devs that completely overhauling every device could absolutely ruin any old drafts

genuinely pisses me off to even look at this site anymore, and it's depressing that it makes me so angry
we've asked for a lot of things, and removing half of your features and making the whole site look like fucking soundcloud was not one of them
let us sort artists' tracks again. bring back boards. bring back legacy/next functionality of devices. fix the studio efficiency, fix embeds, and PLEASE just listen to what people actually want
and why the fuck would you get rid of boards? and why do blank tracks thumbnails show this dumbass device grid icon instead of the studio snapshots? why are downloads not available on track pages? i can assure you people are gonna want them when they hear how messed up certain tracks are in the new studio. i was hoping this was just an end of an era, but it really feels like the end of everything. the community-centric approach has disappeared in favor of some watered-down soundcloud bullshit and it makes me fucking upset
i know that certain issues will get ironed out in the coming months, but a lot of these changes seem permanent and as someone who has many songs that i want and Need to finish in audiotool, i'm worried that i'll never be able to complete my projects the way i want going forward
i guess i just wish the legacy functionality for more features was available. i mean how is anybody going to remix older tracks now??
i have tracks that i don't even know what to do with now. grooves are broken, pulsar delay functions very strangely now, and in general things just aren't operating the way i know they should. i was all for improving the studio, but these fundamental changes have just screwed so much up. i have a song i've been working on for years now that meant the world to me, but now it sounds ruined
