  this is something that most friends on here already know, but i feel like i should just come out and admit it considering i've obviously been pretty absent for a while now

  i'm an alcoholic

  a severe alcoholic

  i hit a major depressive episode in 2023 (due to certain events), the worst i've ever had

  and i would drink here and there but at the start of 2024 (due to other events) i started Really drinking

  as of right now i haven't gone even a day without drinking for over a year

    i've made a promise to myself and the people around me that i'll get sober by the end of this year, and i hope i can stick to it

    it's hard and it'll only get harder, but if i can't do it then i'm fucked

    i wanna do it for me but i also wanna do it for anyone that appreciates the music i make

    so yeah, that's all for now
