Niels Bos
ABADDON aka Lost Protocol is one of the few advocates of the harder, classic Dutch School – if not the only one. With his pounding Hardcore monsters he soon stood out among the tame mass of Audiotool users, who – at least where the music is concerned – tend to be addicted to harmony. That doesn't mean there are no sensitive tracks among his work. We are glad to see that he has survived his baby break and is back to provide us with the requisite dose of otitis.

- Musical Style
- I don't think this needs a lot of explanation. My style is the harder style of electronic music, mainly Hardstyle and Hardcore but I don't really like the new Hardstyle so what I produce is best described as early Hardcore. I like dark and deep sounds.
- Musical Background
- When I was a young boy a friend of mine bought some turntables and this is where it all started. Soon I bought my own and was playing the decks the whole time. I played at some illegal raves and also in a club every Friday night. Producing music is something I have learned by just doing stuff and seeing what happens. I'm a vinyl junkie and love mixing.
- Started making music
- When I was 15 years old I started mixing and playing the turntables. I realised that I was pretty good at it and slowly started to make some music with a friend.
- On Audiotool
- When my wife got pregnant I took a long holiday and I found Audiotool (best website in the world). That's about 6 years ago. I have been away for almost a year but now the kids are a bit bigger and I have more time again to do what I love.
- Message to the community
- When I started on Audiotool the community was not as huge as it is now but it was a place of respect and helping each other with all kind of things. Don't let anyone tell you what to do. Making music is letting the emotional energy out. From the heart and mind, so really make what you like and don't try to please others who are trying to get you down. Keep real and stay yourself.
