Metin Filiz
To describe Pathfnder's style only as Retro would not do justice to his wild and always dynamic mixture. But what in fact is ever present is the character of the Roller Discos and Arcades of the late seventies and early eighties, enhanced with a trace of the Modern. And that at the highest level of production techniques. So pick up your joysticks and follow his path on the way to the Highscore.

- Musical Style
- I think most producers are influenced by the music they hear and grow up with. Maybe that's why my tracks are a mix of Funk and 80s Synth wave. I love this pushing feeling with strong beats and the characteristic bass and clear synth design.
- Musical Background
- I learned to play the drums and keyboard for a few years.
- Started making music
- My first contact with something like a DAW was in 1994 with a program called Magix Music Maker. Back then it was more of a loop puzzle game with a small library. Producing my own stuff began in 2007 when I discovered Ableton and the possibility to record and work with instruments
- On Audiotool
- I discovered Auditool some years ago at a time where I was bored with pre-designed synth patches but had no idea how to create my own. I thought that my mix would be this blurred because of the bad patches. It was on YouTube that I found a tutorial for the pulv - I think it was by Einhard Luther.
- Message to the community
- It is really awesome how many talented and creative artists there are in this community! Keep listening, commenting and learning from each other. This is one of the strongest parts of Audiotool I think. Publishing songs on Soundcloud is not half as satisfying as it is on Audiotool, because of the real feedback of the community. Don't underestimate Audiotool and invest a lot of money in "professional" music workstations early on. A painter does not automatically produce a "better" picture with more expensive brushes without knowledge about colors and proportions.
