Overcast

Got together with a close friend of mine and wrote a song... and put it to a track :) (He wrote the lyrics) First time trying this sort of thing, so let me know what your thoughts are, and any help on mixing vocals & stuff along those lines would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Lyrics: Overcast Gray skies/ cold nights/ wondering if I can make things right. Closed eyes/ time flies/ wish I could say that I was surprised. Tell me if there is another way. We could move the clouds to see the day. Hanging on to every word you say. And now my blue skies are turning to gray. It's overcast No this can't last You tell me let it go and put it in the past. It's overcast Just drop the act We were fine but then we took it way too fast. Feeling low/ Nowhere to go/ when you left you took a piece of my soul. Now I'm alone/ cuts to the bone/ Have to keep myself from picking up my phone. Living like we're in a fairy tale. Defied the wind and then we set sail. Couldn't make it out the stormy gale.
