Never thought of that before, though I'm still learning. I'd like to master my sound before I continue doing vocals. I've barely scratched the surface.

yeah the best way to get better is keep practicing, i used to always muffle mine also cause i was really confident in being able to add vocals. Something to make them sound better is to do multiple takes and put them all together, with one panned left, one down the middle, and one panned right. And yeah i get the whole soundscape thing but i would go for a fully vocal song with the instrumental build around them, i really think you have the talent to do something like that!

Thanks man, personally I need more practice. I'd love to do more sometime in the future. As for why I muffled them, part of me wasn't entirely confident, and another part of me did it for the aesthetic, my main focus was the soundscape itself lol.
