Metal Project [WIP]

I'm new to this but here's a snippet of what I'm working on lately.. Trying new things. I have a lot to do before I finish. The vocals you hear are a placeholder for now. I'm going to be recording my own. The first voice you hear is mine actually. Metal has a LOT of low-end haha

I'm aware of the mix of the drums. I'm still adding more elements to this, and everything will have its place when it's done lol

    I like that bassline, but I wanna hear more punch in the transients and grit in the tone. Are you using an amp sim? Supercharger is a really nice and free tube comp sim by Native Instruments that's really nice for bringing out guitar/bass harmonics and accentuating dirt in a situation like this.

      I genuinely wouldn't mind working with someone experienced in this genre.

      I appreciate it! I am actually working with some stock plugins with Ableton Live 12 Suite. I agree with the transients of the bass too. I would like a heavy guitar to compliment the bassline
