The snow shines bright

And the weather's a delight

And with you by my side

I see all the rainbows

Winter comes to a close

But the flakes are slow to melt

You point them out, I never would've seen

The colors if you weren't there.

We make a circle in the snow, then another, then a heart and a star. The world seems kinder when you're near, more innocent, more gentle. I can't help but think that maybe, in another world, we were meant to be- but it seems like in this life, I won't be so lucky. Either way, I'm just happy you're here now, and I savor every moment we spend together.
