I also know someone on this site that has an even greater knowledge than me about literally everything AT has to offer. I'd contact @relative mAJOR for lessons, as he can explain in great detail, unlike me. He's who I went to when I didn't know what something did.
I personally don't watch videos on sound design anymore, because I have a basic foundation to understanding what does what. But I'd go to Andrew Huang for some cool shit lol
I just fuck around until something sounds nice, there's no specific direction I head into when experimenting. Of course there's the occasion that I want to replicate something that was done in Serum or Phase Plant, and I want to try and replicate it. But honestly how I got to where I am was publishing my experiments. I promise you if you can do that with passion, within a year you can know and understand how things work way better than before, and know what does what, and what doesn't.
