    I feel like you could get a pretty dope sound still without the lowest octave or the 128th notes. I opened it and played a whole not followed by two halfs up an octave, and it sounded the same more less.. Just not as crunchy. On this growl technique I think its all about lining up the tuning automation with the frequency automations on the eq and ott. You can still get longer growls as well as short punchy ones. you just have to make the automation arches the corresponding length
