I thank you very sincerely for your message. You are already there, I am a very solitary person in my music and our exchanges allow me to open up a little, I feel understood and that already brings me a lot.
It makes me SO very happy to hear that! You are brilliant, and I truly believe in what I said. You can bring the funk! Keep putting your passion into it, because it is shining through brightly and beautifully. If there's ever anything that I can do to help, please feel free to reach out however is most convenient for you :) your peers are here to support you! :D
Thank you for your feedback, I felt like I had progressed a little and your comments make me want to work even more to achieve something that is closer and closer to what I have in my head.
Hello Althruist, I also like your very special sounds which, despite the same tools, make your tracks unique. I would love to be able to do a collab with you sometime.
So the intro is good except the fact that the many EQs you have there may affect your other elements such as the
01:04
part as you can feel a tiny bit of distortion in the part. try using auto filter or a slope/PEQ/ to filter it to stabilize the part. The other element im worried about is the part at
02:50
. As you can hear, the ending sequence needs a bit of a frequency changer, by using such devices like the PEQ. The voiceover is good though, Great job! Just a few tweaks on the track!
Nice bass. The bell melody is also great. One thing I would change is to slightly tweak that vocal sample that starts at
00:47
. It sounds slightly out of place, as if high-passed and breathy, and I'd play around with the leveling, because on the first note the vocal is a bit too loud and on the second it gets kinda lost. It sounds a little like coming from a telephone, which could make sense stylistically if you adjusted it, added a bit of distortion and compression.
Otherwise very solid track. I just think the vocal could need a bit more mid-range, maybe some resonance control through EQ. Either that, or fully embrace the telephone aesthetic. I'm a fan of the sound quality. Everything has depth and volume even though the mix is dense.
