Having some issues with long samples. Testing to see if this will actually publish. Just a quick one-take with long reverb and a volume pedal.

  • Did you have trouble with the waveforms not matching up after using probe? I've found that leaving a bit of overlap after you've cut something long down to portions lasting less than 30s, and then doing a rapid crossfade between bits works reasonably well with guitar that I've recorded. Awesome soundscape!

    • To avoid the clicking when splitting the initial recording into several samples, I zoom in a lot to cut at a very precise fraction of beat for the end of the first sample, and then start the next sample from that very same value. When I mean zooming in, I mean zooming in to the maximum possible. Hope it helps, beautiful sounds :)

    • I have done the crossfade tricks to reduce the clicking, but on this I didn't bother with it since it was just a quick one-take. Thanks for checking it out though!

    • If I recorded a sample inside the app (with the live recording feature) that lasted for more than a few minutes, it wouldn't render at all. I think the devs are aware of the issue, but I don't think it has been fixed yet.

I still have a lot of issues with artifacting and clicking when recording, but that's another issue entirely. Hopefully things get better soon :)

  • niceee

  • Oh yes

    • Yes, there's a virtual pedal that can do that on my guitar effect processor :)

    • This is fucking sick

    • Oh shit you used the crystalizer on this didn't you

  • Test or not this is beautiful, love the guitar

  • Nice

  • Amazing as always :)
