Thank you @naswalt for this great opportunity. I hope you enjoy my remix.

Once my computer recovered from the heart attack it had while loading the draft, I tried to analyze the track and its individual elements. It was impossible to play the track with all its elements without my PC running out of power again. So I decided to clean it up first. I listened to elements individually and considered whether I wanted to keep them or perhaps use them differently.

In short, I deleted many elements and ended up keeping the lead guitar and the vocals.

I removed the piano, but kept the note track and built a layer out of them.

And then, deep within the track, I found these baseline patterns that were actually lost in the overall mix and inaudible.

So I started rebuilding the track. I definitely wanted to keep the screamed vocals, but make the track a bit softer overall. So I decided to use the chorus to blur the screamed parts a bit, making them less clearly audible, while still preserving their character.

  • I'm editing this together right now into the mix!

Thank you so much for this track @JayFK ❤️

  • Very nice, love the mood of the track! Great job:~)

  • Very nice !

  • Nice work @JayFK ! Really interesting remix! I think the lack of a proper low end feel is throwing me off. Even with a softer tone, a nice warm low end would really fill out the mix in my opinion.

    • I agree.

You probably already know this, but sometimes it can be less intensive on your CPU if you bounce your audio (what little you can) into an audio sample. This can allow you to delete the devices used to create that sound, freeing up your CPU for more processing.

      Hope this is helpful!! :)

    • Yes, I also guess there are some parts with clipping and to much noise.

But I was again at that Point, where I could not Play the entire Mix in the Studio without lagging.

  • oooooooh those chords are lush.

why does this work so well as a club mix?

    • The chords are your original Piano notes 😁
