it's that time of month again. i really miss the audiotool devices. there isn't anything that is exactly like them. for example a free seeded random arpeggiator doesn't exist. no GOOD pulsar delays exist, waveshaper isn't standard on the DAW. and the pulv. I've managed to do some workarounds to get the same familiar effects and synths, but the one thing i could not replace is the matrix. So i'm coding my own. And next month will be a whole bunch of tracks from Reaper, so buckle up.

why reaper? i was thinking about what the best daw for me would be, and that would be one where i could have an IDE open and just code my own stuff, and reaper is perfect. not only can you code your own plugins but you can also CUSTOMISE THE UI. HOLY CRAP why has no daw done this before? you can add buttons, macros, change the UI behaviour completely and it's all very intuitive and easy to use. so damn good!

i'm in the process of coding my own matrix, dubbed the UBERmatrix in JSFX, reaper's scripting language. i'm somewhere halfwayish done with it.

  • I like the full album :) Bitwig demo reveals other styles of music i didn't know you were producing ! Can't wait to hear the reaper version

  • Just to be clear these are all bitwig tracks. And bitwig does not have any coding capabilities.

Next volume will be reaper tracks
