November wasn't very productive as I was mostly dealing with school
December saw me doing a lot more thrash metal after taking a break to do melodic metalcore
Since a lot of these don't have anything special about them, I'll only include info when needed
-
- 11/4/25 'maroon'
- 11/5/25 'black birch'
- 12/1/25 'red hot' - I had this idea bouncing around for a while. I had also just bought a new drum VST, which you'll hear for the rest of these.
- 12/2/25 'mysterio'
- 12/2/25/2 'sin' - each and every day we get closer to me making a black metal album
- 12/9/25 'pepper' - tried something at 300 BPM. Didn't work
Dec 21, 25
- 12/10/25 'the hunted' - a much more reasonable 260 BPM.
- 12/17/25 'lizard' - probably my favorite of these.
- 12/18/25 'shark bite' - it's kind of funny that this and Maroon are both inspired by the same song, The Atrocity Exhibition by Exodus. Both riffs are a sped-up version of something I was playing on my guitar that evening.
