whenever i get to try a new daw or tracker i start with an acid tune, first thing i see here we've got a dedicated 303 plugin which works tediously great hah, this website's truly solid in many aspects, pretty sure there's many brilliant artists out there that might have started and still come over here.
i've still been left wondering though, can i edit the amp env or chop samples and use them as midi notes on the piano roll? can i automate the pattern knob on the acid bassline and avoid resorting to two machines and a crossfader? gotta find out.
u can right click on anything and click automate parameter, thatll give u an extra track under ur note track to automate. to switch patters, right click and click create pattern track, then you just put ur patterns in as you would a note track, just right click ur pattern and click switch pattern to choose otherwise it will default to whichever pattern ur on! enjoy learning its daunting at first but youll find it very intuitive
