this kinda rubs me the wrong way- other people's culture shouldn't be your joke. i know you're young and you may not know the implications and repercussions, but stuff like this is pretty frowned upon and for good reason. there's a long history of anti-asian propaganda and hate crimes that i don't think you want to be a part of.
you speak truth brotha, and you are completely right, music is very deeply tied to culture, and as you say inseparable. What's wrong with taking ones cultural music, and basing it to create a different type, I don't exactly know, but what i do know is how to make music. thanks for your understanding Nico! (P.S. you are very right about how creators of this kind of music would react, most would say FU and just leave it at that, resulting n a report, which then goes to a ban. Which is right)
in reality it can be quite complicated. music is so deeply tied into- and inseparable from- culture and heritage and religion and all this heavy stuff that requires respect and a careful hand. when humor with an obvious straw man type thing is mixed in, the conversation can get quite shallow, which i think can do a disservice to the deep matters at hand. this is all just to say that i trust you to make choices about this for yourself, and i’d prefer to have a conversation than mask it in humor.
with those videos i've also seen floating around it can seem simple &one-sided, as if those who are offended have no reason to be. but it’s important to think about how what you see fits a specific narrative; ie that once one “ethnic” person gives permission, it’s fine to use their cultural artifacts in any way (which has two fallacies; first that the experience of one person is the same as the multitude of experiences of a culture, second that culture is to be used rather than participated in).
Po9t and Nico, truly I am sorry that you felt like this was offensive towards another culture, and i do apologize about the long explanation, as it's the only way i could've explained it
I can change the title, and the picture, but changing the beat is an injustice towards the creativity i tried to put in this, sure its jut a sample beat to you, but to me its a beat I spend a couple hours figuring out how to put together.

I think the real lesson here, is to just see it for whats it meant to be, not as you think it is
There are various videos, and examples of people dressing up/acting out as a different culture, and when they out to places that are predominantly of americans, Americans see it as offensive, and or straight up hating on a culture that isnt theirs, but when they go out to the places of that culture, they are often (not all the time, but often) actually accepted, and are told that they have n worries/ do not take any offense toward that behavior. As a mixed person with Chinese relatives, and have been to China with those relatives, even they see it as a joke my man. It's really not that serious.
