The Alien Incident (Demo)

Track 4 The Neon Age was initially meant to be my 5th album. It was meant to expand on [i], offering much more cohesive songwriting, better sound design, and a heavier emphasis on electronic elements and interesting riffs. Over time, the album became a rough concept album, outlining a pretty generic dystopian future with an AI overlord and zombies and stuff like that. The album was scrapped when I realized that I had essentially made a bunch of boring songs with a loose generic concept that has been done a million times before. This song was actually pretty fun to make. It was going to be an prequel song (and probably the first single) detailing an unsuccessful alien invasion that eventually led to the creation of the AI that would take over the world.
