what i did was split off the main signal through a bunch of effects and sent each one to a different channel on a centroid mixer, and then gradually upped the volume. i found as i split off more and more channels, it would automatically start sidechaining to itself...i know it sounds strange, but around its sounds way more choppy, and in the beginning i had the kick sidechained to its own reverb and it didnt sound like that. very interesting...
sooooooooooooo cool... If you want to get technical... this would be IDM Industrial Progressive House... but since there isn't a presence of a prominent bass line.. it would be along the lines of IDM Industrial
